From Hell

About a week ago I finished off Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell’s From Hell which I enjoyed, but sporadically. The thing about the whole Jack the Ripper case that is interesting is the unsolved mystery: Who did it and how did they get away with it and what would happen today under the same circumstances? Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell propose an interesting theory, but that theory is clearly and intentionally fictionalized to a great extent. Seeing why this theory holds water is interesting to me, but delving into the metaphysical mind of the killer is not so much.
