Well, today is the last day of the National Novel Writer’s Month event to write 50,000 words in 30 days. I came nowhere close. I lost steam somewhere around my birthday, and haven’t gotten back into the groove yet. Still, I feel like a winner.

My birthday turned out great. Calm, low key, and terrific.
I also had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. I have way too many things I am thankful for to list.

Tomorrow’s my birthday, and I’m worried. I’m turning 38, and I’m feeling… odd… about the age. It is the first time I’ve turned an age where I feel I’m supposed to be truly… adult.
